We Floridians wanted to have more of an impact on deciding whom the eventual nominee, (from either party), will be to run for President of the United States.  I think we got what we wanted.  Three out of the 4 states, (Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina), that were traditionally before Florida in the primary season moved up their election dates.  Nevada was the lone holdout. We Floridians feel that we can decide when we hold an election where only Floridians will be voting.  In other words stay out of our business. (This aligns nicely with State's rights initiatives)

I must say that after 2000 any news that isn't about hanging chads in reference to Florida is welcome news. Whoever wins tomorrow's delegates certainly has the leg up in regards to donations.  The rest of the nation sees the number of delegates for the leader as a portend of an effective leader and communicator that will eventually win the nomination.  In other words whomever wins tomorrow most certainly has the look and smell of a winner.  Winners attract all the big money and small money alike from the party faithful.  While tomorrow's primary won't settle whom the nominee will be it will certainly give the winner a huge advantage in money and momentum.

Let's look at the facts:

Does today's announcement that Obama is putting the Keystone pipeline on hold lend any credence to his critics that he is all talk and no bite at least when it comes to jobs? 

Building the pipeline would bring over 700,000 barrels of oil per day and directly create 20,000 truly shovel-ready jobs. The Canadian Energy Research Institute estimates that current pipeline operations and the addition of the Keystone XL pipeline would create 179,000 American jobs by 2035.

House Speaker John Boehner says President Barack Obama is breaking his promise to create jobs by rejecting a plan to build an oil pipeline from Canada to Texas.

Boehner says Republicans will keep fighting for the Keystone XL pipeline because the project is good for the U.S. economy because it would create thousands of jobs.

Should we settle for whomever makes it through the GOP gauntlet and becomes the nominee?  There are some political romantics that enjoy the gutting of the candidates during the primary campaigning because it only makes the eventual nominee tough enough to handle the inevitable dirty negative campaigning in the general election.  Does all the friendly fire produce the best candidate?  Do the best candidates even want the job?

Well the only question I can answer from the above is that the eventual GOP nominee should most definitely have our support.  Why?  While all the flavors you've been trying out don't light your world on fire it sure beats the sh#t flavored ice cream that we the American public bought when it was being sold as Rocky Road!

Bottom line is anything is better than the sh#t flavor aftertaste I have in my mouth right now.  If only we could get some butter pecan!

Anyway I just thought I'd state that.  Now let's get back to a non-genius, Barack Hussein Obama.  Did anyone else notice his deficiency in basic math skills.  I admit my math skills aren't the greatest but damn he just plain sucks or he just plain lies.  Here's the actual quote from National Review Online:

In the not so distant past Karl Rove's nicknames were 'The Architect' by conservatives and 'Evil Genius' by liberals.  It's obvious from the nicknames that he was good at reading the American public and directed successful campaigns based upon this ability.  Well he has a new prediction for the next election.  Here's an excerpt:

Some in the media have suggested that #occupywallstreet is the left's 'teaparty' movement.  I could expound for hours on the differences between the two movements but a picture is worth a thousand words.

Once again 'The Employment Situation' monthly report for June was released from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showing the failure to create jobs theme has continued.

How much longer must we collectively keep being slapped in the face with obvious fallacies such as 'we must spend more to create jobs'?

I ask you this:  How many jobs have been created by raising taxes in our history?  What is more conducive to encourage a small business owner to create a new job?  Taxes, onerous regulations, mandates for health care insurance, cap-and-trade energy tax, etc.

Common sense tells us the answer to these questions but common sense and politics are often like oil and water.  When they are forcibly put together the results can be very nice but often they repel each other much like Obama and jobs.

Will President Obama's campaigning really convince people that they are better off now than they were 4 years ago? The MSM (mainstream magicians) has a much harder task this time. Following an unpopular two-term President is dramatically easier to convince the sheeple of the U.S., that a do-nothing unknown Senator should lead us. This time the task for the MSM is to convince the sheeple that despite accomplishing nothing except historic debt that we should entrust Obama one more time and that it's not his fault. He inherited this mess!

It won't be so easy since we know this time that the MSM has no scruples much less journalistic integrity. The facts will be out there, you just won't find them with the MSM.

The not so perfect Republicans have released the first punch to the gut.

--Since Barack Obama was sworn in as president, each American taxpayer’s share of the federal government’s IOU has grown to $50 per day - more than the average cell-phone user is billed in an entire month

--In January 2009, the national debt stood at $10.6 trillion. Fueled by the so-called stimulus, this debt grew by $3.6 trillion in just two years. The magnitude of this amount is difficult to grasp without a comparison. Under Mr. Obama, government has been borrowing $4.6 billion each and every day.
